People of the Carolina Colony Fact Files

This packet covers Lords Proprietors, English, Slaves, Huguenots, European Jews, Germans, and Scots-Irish.

Your students will keep a Fact File about each group that came to Carolina during colonial times. On each page, your students will take notes and do some creative coloring. They can also add any illustrations they choose. 

At the end of the Fact File, your students will have to opportunity to compare and contrast two groups. They will also be able to complete a cause and effect chart based off some of the information found in the Fact File. 

To put the file together, simply print and staple. You can staple it at the bottom, so it opens like a real file folder. If you use interactive notebooks, simply shrink the pages when you print.
