About the Store

Experience

Teaching has been my passion since childhood. I spent countless hours playing “school,” complete with real grade books and planners from the teacher supply store. Of course, teaching was much easier when it was pretend! After graduating college in 2006, I stepped into the classroom for real. Over the next 16 years, I taught 3rd grade for 15 years and spent one year as a substitute teacher. In 2022, I made the decision to leave the classroom to become a stay-at-home mama. Still, the teacher in me never left—I continue creating high-quality, engaging resources that help teachers and their students succeed.

Teaching Style

I believe in a hands-on approach where students learn best by doing. When children actively participate, they not only remember the material—they truly understand it.

Awards

I’m honored to have received two awards recognizing my students’ outstanding performance on state assessments. These moments reaffirmed my commitment to helping learners thrive.

Education History

I hold a degree in Elementary Education with certification for grades 2–6, as well as a Gifted and Talented (GT) endorsement.

Additional Information

I’ve been married to my husband for 16 years, and together we are blessed with a wonderful daughter who brings so much joy to our lives—and an adorable (but crazy!) Belgian Malinois who keeps us on our toes. Beyond teaching and creating, I also run a YouTube channel where I share a mix of healthy (and sometimes not-so-healthy—ha!) recipes, fitness, and family adventures.
